Here are the basics, first desaturate the photo. This will remove any color from the image, i.e. convert image to black and white. (In Photoshop from the screen menu select 'Image', 'adjustments', 'desaturate')</p> <p>Then create a new layer ('Layer', 'New', 'Layer') and fill this layer with the solid colour of your choice, i.e. Red, Blue, Yellow. Then with this layer selected change your layer Blending option from 'Normal' to 'Multiply'.
